We were on track to
have a 2.3 trillion dollar surplus by 2011 when Bill Clinton left office.
George W. Bush with republican control gave away more than that in tax
refunds (3 trillion dollars) shortly after taking office. He
gave away almost 3 trillion dollars that we did not even have. Almost all of it
going the to top couple of percent. BTW: That is when borrowing from China
started escalated to insane levels.
